POES Pre Employment Program is geared toward developing the skills needed for a career in social services. Classes will be held Monday – Friday from 10 am – 3 pm on-site at our Respite Centre @ 21 Park Road, followed by a 120-hour​ volunteer placement in a social service setting in Toronto. Clients will receive six months of follow-up support to meet employment, educational and personal goals.

You MUST be Registered in Ontario Works Program to qualify for Margaret’s pre-employment program. Referrals are only accepted through OW case workers. This program will have multiple sessions throughout the year.

The first session starts on April 15, 2024.
