Winchester 1000+
Faced with increasing demand, Margaret’s is expanding its housing stock to include 35 new modern units on Winchester Avenue in Toronto to support more women experiencing mental illness and homelessness. Learn more about the project and pledge to become one of our 1000+ champions!
Community Engagement
Our Community Engagement Team works as a mobile crisis intervention service that helps to supplement existing neighbourhood services.
We are on a mission to reach vulnerable persons on the streets and meet them ‘where they are at’. We are expanding our community reach and engagement and we need your help to do it!

Land Acknowledgement
As an organization, Margaret’s acknowledges the land we meet and operate on is the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the First Nations Peoples of these territories for allowing us the privilege of meeting on your ancestral lands. We thank you for the opportunity to continue the work of building a more just and equitable society for all.
